Invigorated by Intrigued {Part 1}

It's true!! I have been invigorated by my Intrigued Experience! I learned so many amazing techniques and met inspiring professionals. I came home with so much creative and practical knowledge to use for my brides here in North Carolina.

I spent my nights at the amazing Inn at Perry Cabin... y'all, I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! It was absolutely beautiful and so warm and inviting.

Now on to the good stuff! WHO I learned from and WHAT I learned.

For starters, Sarah with @intriguedexperience is an incredible woman who gives back to the floral community through her leadership and teaching. She is so passionate about the growth of other florists, personally and professionally. Thanks to her for organizing such a great event and learning experience.

Eddie @eddiezaratsian.... What a fabulous and exciting speaker and teacher! I loved his passion for creating beauty. I could hear his love for what he does in his voice. Listening and learning from him was so much fun.

Sue with @freshdesignsflorist had such an intriguing personality as she taught the process and mechanics of a flower wall. Our hands-on experience with her was one of my favorites! We learned how to create a beautiful wall of flowers to be used as a backdrop or centerpiece for any wedding or event. I already have a bride who wants me to produce this type of flower wall for her wedding next June (stay tuned!).

Pablo @pablocoliveira with Nuage Designs was inspirational. I appreciated him telling his story about how he got started in his career... it was incredible! He is so inspiring and it's amazing to see where is now.

Kunbi with @aisleperfect is a remarkable blogger. I loved to hear all about her blogging experiences. If you are not following Aisle Perfect blogs, do yourself a favor and read them!

Ellen with @localcolorflowers has such a fascinating business model that is truly remarkable. All her arrangements are created with local flowers only. Each wedding's floral arrangements are determined by what is in season and being grown locally at that time. Local Color Flowers are conscious about reducing their footprint on the earth. I loved hearing from Ellen.

Uche with @designsbyoochay.... Wow! Talk about someone who has grown at a fast rate. And she is already giving back to the floral community with her teaching and knowledge. She was an excellent inspiration to me as a business owner.

Obviously this was an amazing and worth while experience and this was only half of it!

Stay tuned to hear about the other six speakers on next week's blog!

Love Y'all,
