Remember the day it snowed?

Who else had an amazing holiday season? Christmas lights, delicious food, snow, and lots of friends and family. I love it all. ABBA Design has definitely had an incredible past few months.

Remember the first day it snowed this winter here in NC? It was December 9th, a busy and exciting day for ABBA Design. We had two beautiful snowy weddings and a Country Club Gala.

A Gala? Yes! And amazing Holiday Gala held at the Greensboro Country Club for their exclusive members. This Country Club is a special place for many people in Greensboro where they can come enjoy lots of activities with their friends and family. The Holiday Gala is one of the many GCC events put on throughout the year where members of the Country Club come celebrate the season with lots of food, drinks, friends and music. This year, we had the privilege of providing design and decor for this holiday inspired event.

We love working with Sara and Scott at GCC who always have amazing ideas for their events. We help bring their vision to life, ABBA style. This year we designed extraordinary broad arrangements for their main focal points. These floral arrangements measured about 32 inches wide which made them statement pieces throughout the event. We also did a few shorter tables arrangements and smaller cocktail arrangements decorated with candlelight. To bring the holiday theme together, we wove pretty gold ribbon through the arrangements for a little holiday sparkle.

The amazing food at this party was catered by the Club. Doesn't it look incredible?? Everything was perfectly displayed. Of course we noticed that part because we are all about some great design and appearance!

See what I mean about statement pieces? This large arrangement stands tall and beautiful in the center of this array of foods. In the center of a room, or a place where you want to draw attention, it's always a good idea to adorn the area with a large floral piece.
